On Friday, August 30th, 2024, Zwaremachine will unveil their second single, “Actions and Forces”, from the upcoming album. This single will be available for free download exclusively on their Bandcamp page.

This release marks the first appearance of new Dutch band members Paul K and Marshal B, who have recently joined the lineup.

Zwaremachine is the brainchild of Minneapolis-based artist Mach Fox. Established in 2011, Zwaremachine quickly carved out a niche within the dark electro and EBM scenes, known for their intense live performances and quality releases.

Zwaremachine’s debut album, “Be a Light”, released in 2018, wasquite well received. The “Ripping at the Fabric” remix EP followed in 2019. Below is the band’s last offering.

The core of Zwaremachine has always been Mach Fox, a visionary artist whose work encompasses not only music but also visual art and multimedia performances. Over the years, the lineup has evolved, with bassist Dbot joining to add depth to the band’s sound. In 2023, the band faced a devastating loss with the passing of their drummer, Dein Offizier. The recent addition of Dutch musicians Paul K on guitar and Marshal B on drums has brought a new dynamic to the band, infusing fresh energy into their live performances.

Since you’re here …

… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Side-Line Magazine than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can - and we refuse to add annoying advertising. So you can see why we need to ask for your help.

Side-Line’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we want to push the artists we like and who are equally fighting to survive.

If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as 5 US$, you can support Side-Line Magazine – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
