The Neuro Farm – Voices (Digital/CD/Vinyl/Cassette Album – Big Curve Music)
The American band The Neuro Farm has already made a name for itself with several albums and returns this year with their latest release, “Voices”. While their previous work was deeply rooted in Dark-Wave, this new album explores a slightly different sonic path. Staying anchored in the genre, “Voices” introduces elements of Shoegaze and Dream-Pop, adding depth and originality to their sound. The album showcases prominent guitar work, but it’s the ethereal violin melodies that truly stand out, delivering moments of heavenly beauty and elevating the music to new heights. These violin sounds also bring a touch of melancholy, perfectly complementing the band’s dark and artistic aesthetic. Adding further richness are the commanding male vocals, occasionally harmonized by a delicate female voice. With “Voices”, The Neuro Farm has crafted a remarkable album that’s both atmospheric and emotionally resonant, pushing boundaries while staying true to their roots. (Rating:8).

Since you’re here …
… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Side-Line Magazine than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can - and we refuse to add annoying advertising. So you can see why we need to ask for your help.
Side-Line’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we want to push the artists we like and who are equally fighting to survive.
If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as 5 US$, you can support Side-Line Magazine – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
