The Jesus and Mary Chain have released a live rendition of “Half Way To Crazy” from their upcoming “Sunset 666” album, set to be released on August 4th, 2023, under Fuzz Club. This track was recorded live at the Hollywood Palladium in 2018 during the band’s North American tour supporting Nine Inch Nails. “Sunset 666” features a selection of songs from their discography, including tracks from “Psychocandy”, “Darklands”, “Automatic”, “Honey’s Dead”, “Stoned and Dethroned”, “Munki”, and “Damage and Joy”.

“Half Way To Crazy”, originally from their 1989 album “Automatic”, is now available for listening in its “Sunset 666” version. You can check it out below.

Regarding the single, The Jesus and Mary Chain commented, “The fourth side of the ‘Sunset 666’ vinyl, recorded at The Hollywood Palladium show on December 11, 2018, with Nine Inch Nails, features some of our favorite ‘Automatic’ tracks to perform live. This rendition of ‘Half Way To Crazy’ truly captures the energy of that evening.”

“Sunset 666″‘”, which showcases The Jesus and Mary Chain performing a collection of their classic hits with a measured intensity, is set to be released on double LP vinyl, CD, and digital formats. The album’s release coincides with the band’s performance at London’s Crystal Palace Bowl, where they will share the stage with Primal Scream and The Black Angels as part of this year’s South Facing Festival.
