Not only is it the first time this release is available on vinyl, it is also the first official CD reissue including four bonus tracks: two were bonus digital-only tracks (2013); one track is taken from the soundtrack to the 2011 T.A.G.C. film “Given”; one is a remix of the title track.
The CD comes as a 6-panel digipak while the vinyl is available in two different formats.
- CD in matt-laminate 6-panel digipak
- Ltd Ed 300 copies on brown heavyweight 180g vinyl in a matt-laminate sleeve
- Black heavyweight 180g vinyl in a matt-laminate sleeve
The bonus CD-only tracks are: “Iso-Erotic Calibration (After Glow Mix)”, “Adonne”, “Phantom Frequencies” and “Hommage Dr Jekyll Et Les Femmes” (6:50)”.
About The Anti Group Communications
The Anti Group Communications (T.A.G.C.), commonly known as The Anti Group, is an avant-garde art and music project from Sheffield, England. Founded in 1978 by Adi Newton and Steven Turner, it serves as a spin-off from the industrial band Clock DVA.
T.A.G.C. operates as an open-membership collaborative, focusing on research and development across various media, including sound, film, video, and performance. Their work delves into psychoacoustics and philosophical concepts, often accompanied by extensive liner notes that explain the theoretical foundations of their recordings. This approach positions T.A.G.C. as a project dedicated to acoustic research rather than conventional music.
The group’s discography includes releases such as “The Delivery” (1985), “Digitaria” (1986), and “Burning Water” (1994). After disbanding in 1996, Adi Newton revived the project in 2009, continuing with new releases and live performances.
Since you’re here …
… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Side-Line Magazine than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can - and we refuse to add annoying advertising. So you can see why we need to ask for your help.
Side-Line’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we want to push the artists we like and who are equally fighting to survive.
If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as 5 US$, you can support Side-Line Magazine – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
