Russia’s dark electro act Sleetgrout offers 5-track EP ‘Farewell, Nit!’ for free download
October 12th sees the release of “Farewell, Nit!”, the brand new EP by one of the leading Russian dark electro acts, Sleetgrout. Just like on their last releases the band again mixes its unusual way of songwriting with several genres. “Farewell, Nit!” acts as a teaser for the band’s new full-length album. The EP is distributed for free in FLAC and MP3 and is Sleetgrout’s way to thank their old fans (and welcome new ones).
The EP includes 3 new original tracks (“Farewell, Nit!”, “Just Want To Bite” and “I Bought Coffins feat. Cygnosic”) and 2 remixes by Alex Dvane (“Just Want To Bite”) and Hydroxie (“Farewell, Nit!”).
Note that Georg from Cygnosic contributed his guest vocals in Russian for “I Bought Coffins” and that Rita, the only female member in Sleetgrout is featured on “Just Want To Bite” (you can see her on the photo on the left).
You can download this free Sleetgrout EP from the Insane Records website or from Bandcamp, or just download below.
Since you’re here …
… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Side-Line Magazine than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can - and we refuse to add annoying advertising. So you can see why we need to ask for your help.
Side-Line’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we want to push the artists we like and who are equally fighting to survive.
If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as 5 US$, you can support Side-Line Magazine – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
The donations are safely powered by Paypal.
