Rome presents all new mini-album: ‘World in Flames’
(Photo by Benedikt Walther) Following the release of the album “Gates of Europe” (2023), which focused on Russia’s assault on Ukraine, and a subsequent extensive European tour, Jérôme Reuter, the mastermind behind Rome, took a brief hiatus. He will now return with a new album, “World in Flames“, on Trisol Music Group GmbH next month.
“World in Flames”, set for release on CD and Black 180g 12″ vinyl, signed by Jérôme Reuter and limited to 500 copies, presents a stark and raw analysis of contemporary society. Unlike previous albums, this mini-album is a direct and unsparing critique of the modern world, divided into two distinct parts.
Rome was founded in 2005 by Luxembourgish artist Jérôme Reuter and brings a blend of martial industrial, dark folk, and neoclassical music. Reuter’s songwriting often addresses historical and political themes, with previous albums delving into subjects such as the Spanish Civil War, the French Resistance, and post-war Europe.

Since you’re here …
… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Side-Line Magazine than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can - and we refuse to add annoying advertising. So you can see why we need to ask for your help.
Side-Line’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we want to push the artists we like and who are equally fighting to survive.
If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as 5 US$, you can support Side-Line Magazine – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
