In this 21st century, learning has become global. More and more countries are embracing the education systems from English speaking countries. - Diversity
One of the greatest benefits of attending an international school is that it exposes students from all over the world to different cultures. - Languages
Most of these schools will teach children several languages at once. It helps if you speak a different language at home and have a different local language, you get to learn other languages in school, too.
- IB curriculum
This curriculum is great because it is accepted internationally in all continents. It is a great system because it encourages critical thinking and the courses are independent. The diplomas are recognized by all institutions.
- Networking
It is a great place for middle-class students to interact with students from the wealthy class. It also allows them to meet different people from different social statuses not only improving the socializing skills but also sharpening their lives by interacting with people who will light their career paths.
Cons
- Expensive price
Tuition is often quite costly. Most parents cannot afford to take their kids to these schools. To get the best education for the children, parents will even get into debt which is not good for struggling families.
- Resources
One of the biggest issues that students have with the IGCSE curriculum is having trouble finding some online resources. It is impossible to get them at local libraries although sometimes the internet is helpful.
