NECRØ presents new single and video, ‘Into Oblivion’

(Photo by Vera Marmelo) The Portuguese electro/industrial duo NECRØ has released a new single, “Into Oblivion”. The single is out now while the band puts the final touches on their debut album. “Into Oblivion” is the first single from this new album, set to be released on the German label Cold Transmission Music in 2024, and is accompanied by a new video.
NECRØ is the latest project from João Vairinhos (LÖBO) and Sara Inglês (Wildnorthe) and is based in Lisbon, Portugal.
The single follows their debut EP “Death Beats,” released in 2023.
NECRØ explains the single’s theme: “‘Into Oblivion’ explores the majestic hope that we will peak and achieve something memorable while simultaneously feeling the urge to be forgotten. As we wander through countless days of repetition, we try to find comfort and obliterate the reality that seasons will pass, our oasis of memories will dry up, and our souls will fade into oblivion.”
The duo will have their German live premiere at the Cold Transmission Label Night on October 19th in Rüsselsheim, Germany, where they will present their new album.
