Taking place on August 10/11 is M’era Luna, one of the most important, if not the most important festival of goth, metal and industrial music. It is held annually on the second weekend of every August, in Hildesheim, Germany at the Flugplatz Hildesheim-Drispenstedt, a former British Army airbase. M’era Luna includes camping facilities and has two stages: a large rock festival style structure, erected for the show each year, and a former aircrafthangar. With its 20,000-25,000 regular attendants, the M’era Luna is one of the largest Gothic music festivals in Germany.
Our photoeditor, Vivi Ball will be there to report live on Facebook and cover the festival. Expect the review with photos no later than Aug 20.
