Love Ghost x Skold release new single ‘Ski Mask’ from upcoming album
(Photo by Jim Louvau) US indie/alt-rock artist Love Ghost (Finnegan Bell) and Swedish industrial icon Tim Skold (known for KMFDM, Marilyn Manson) dropped their third collaborative single, “Ski Mask” as Love Ghost x Skold, via Metropolis Records.
The track captures a journey through emotional upheaval, dealing with personal struggles like overmedication and societal collapse. Bell explains it through the metaphor of a heist, where the listener is led through haunting, personal revelations.
The single arrives ahead of their eponymous debut album, set for release on November 22. Known for exploring darker themes, “Ski Mask” follows previous releases like “Nightshade and Cocaine” and “Payback”, each contributing to the album’s overall ominous, grunge-industrial soundscape.
Tim Skold brings his iconic industrial background from his work with KMFDM, Marilyn Manson, and Motionless in White. His dark soundscapes are mixed with Love Ghost’s indie-rock roots. Love Ghost, fronted by Finnegan Bell, is an LA-based act blending grunge, alt-rock, and post-punk influences with modern darkwave and emo elements. Their collaboration with Skold is the latest in a series of partnerships.

… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Side-Line Magazine than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can - and we refuse to add annoying advertising. So you can see why we need to ask for your help.
Side-Line’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we want to push the artists we like and who are equally fighting to survive.
If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as 5 US$, you can support Side-Line Magazine – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
