Here’s great news for all those into great female fronted electropop. The French top electropop act Foretaste returns with a brand new album, “Space Echoes”, on 9 September.

You can already pre-order this gem at a special pre-order price from the BOREDOMproduct label. It is being pre-launched with the almost sold-out “Lost In Space” EP which expands the album’s experience with unreleased tracks and exclusive remixes. Both album and EP have been produced by XY, Celluloide’s Member U0176 and mastered by XX.

“Space Echoes”, a clear reference to the classic Roland echo chamber, is already Foretaste’s 5th album and is the follow-up to the very well received “Love on Demand”. For the occasion the band went searching their inspiration in 1950’s SF novels (the best era for space opera as the true SF fans know).

Production wise the band has now added violins, harps and percussions to the classical electronic background they are known for. It won’t take long before tracks like “One by One” and “First Symptoms” will become fan favourites next to the intense “Falling Babylon” or “Pulse”.

Highly, but really highly, recommended!

We have an exclusive preview to offer from the 11 tracks featured on this new chef-d’oeuvre. You can listen right below.

Since you’re here …

… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Side-Line Magazine than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can - and we refuse to add annoying advertising. So you can see why we need to ask for your help.

Side-Line’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we want to push the artists we like and who are equally fighting to survive.

If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as 5 US$, you can support Side-Line Magazine – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
