(Photo by Bobby Talamine) KMFDM have a new single out via Metropolis Records, “Let Go”. “Let Go” is also the title track of the new KMFDM 11-track album which will be out on February 2nd on CD and vinyl, plus download and streaming.

“Let Go” is the band’s 23rd studio album and includes the core lineup of Sascha’“Käpt’n K’ Konietzko, Lucia Cifarelli, Andy Selway and Andee Blacksugar. Lyrically the album addresses the social, political, and cultural ills of a world in perpetual turmoil. “Never let them know your next move”, says Käpt’N K, explaining you “to let go of precept and pretense, to hold on tight, leave your worries behind, and get ready to rock!”

The release was mixed and mastered by Benjamin Lawrenz (VNV Nation, Deep Purple, Saga, Mono Inc., Lord of the Lost), at Chameleon Recording Studios in Hamburg and again holds Aidan ‘BRUTE’ Hughes’ distinctive cover artwork.

The new single is available now from all music platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music and Bandcamp. Following this, they embark on a month-long US tour, for which tickets are already available for pre-order.

Here’s the video for the new single.

Since you’re here …

… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Side-Line Magazine than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can - and we refuse to add annoying advertising. So you can see why we need to ask for your help.

Side-Line’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we want to push the artists we like and who are equally fighting to survive.

If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as 5 US$, you can support Side-Line Magazine – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
