The Start of the Career
In 1990s, David Guetta with his friend Sidney Duthey released the CD “Nation Rap”. A couple of years later, he got acquainted with the legendary Robert Owens, and they released the track “Up & Away”. The song instantly became popular in France. Soon he opened his own night club “Le Bain-Douche” in Paris. His performances attended John Galliano, Calvin Klein, Roger Sanchez and others. At that time, David met Chris Willis. Two days later, Guetta and Willis came up with the song “Just A Little More Love”. In 2001, the song won all the European charts, and also became the anthem of the Ibiza summer festival.
Where Is He Now
Guetta is on the top of popularity and in demand everywhere: there are regular offers of cooperation from George Michael, Kylie Minogue, Cassius and other famous stars. For several years now, critics have called David “remix master”. David does not focus on ratings a lot and he is calm about fame, since “music has become his passion”. However, in the past 3 years, Guetta is considered the best house DJ in the world ranking.
