The Swedish electronic quartet Kiethevez is set to release a new 4-track EP titled “Switch“. The EP will be available on all major platforms starting January 21 and features the tracks “Pride”, “Echoes”, “Scarlet” and “Know Better.”
“Switch” marks the second release in a planned series of EPs showcasing material composed in recent years. Staying true to their commitment to pure electronic instrumentation, which was reintroduced on their previous EP “Binary”, these new tracks also incorporate experimental elements with acoustic sounds, adding a layer of organic depth.
Formed in 1986, Kiethevez is comprised of Jesper Palmqvist, Tomas Amneskog, Jörgen Falmer, and Per-Henrik Sandeskär. Over the years, the band has released three full-length albums and numerous singles and EPs.

Kiethevez formed in 1991 in Gothenburg. After a period of inactivity, Kiethevez returned in 2021 with the EP “Binary”, marking their first release in thirteen years.

Since you’re here …
… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Side-Line Magazine than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can - and we refuse to add annoying advertising. So you can see why we need to ask for your help.
Side-Line’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we want to push the artists we like and who are equally fighting to survive.
If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as 5 US$, you can support Side-Line Magazine – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
