Front 242 launch repressing of ‘Two In One’ and ‘Geography’ on clear transparent vinyl
In 2024, Front 242 will be re-releasing 5 timeless classics on classy crystal clear vinyl in their original vintage design artwork. Already out earlier this year are the titles “Endless Riddance EP”, “Politics Of Pressure” and “No Comment”. Coming up in September and now in pre-order via Alfa Matrix is a second batch holding “Two In One” and “Geography”.
The two vinyls will again be available in a combo 2-vinyl package offered with a second and different exclusive Front 242 tote bag limited to 500 units worldwide. This offer is strictly limited to sales via the official Alfa Matrix store and their official German e-shop www.deejaydead.de.
“Two In One” compiles the band’s two very first 2-track singles, originally released in 1981 and 1982. It also features founding members Dirk Bergen next to Daniel B. and announced the band’s classic debut album “Geography”. Originally released in 1982, the band’s debut album “Geography” is a true “classic” record in electronic music history.
The limited bag will also include the 25th edition of the “Sounds From The Matrix” CD compilation series featuring some 19 Spleen+ & Alfa Matrix artists including exclusive previews of new songs taken from forthcoming releases coming out later this year.
Alfa Matrix also included 4 exclusive 242 postcards to the first 242 bags. Below are the sets available.
- Front 242 – Crystal Vinyl Package with Tote Bag 2 (Two In One 12″ / Geography LP)
- Front 242 – Two In One 12″ (clear transparent vinyl)
- Front 242 – Geography LP (clear transparent vinyl)
Both Front 242 releases are of course also available via Bandcamp.
Since you’re here …
… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Side-Line Magazine than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can - and we refuse to add annoying advertising. So you can see why we need to ask for your help.
Side-Line’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we want to push the artists we like and who are equally fighting to survive.
If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as 5 US$, you can support Side-Line Magazine – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
