The Seattle, Washington-based duo Dual Analog is back with their latest single, “Caverns of the Mind”. On this track Chip Roberts and Kurtis Skinner delve deep into the human psyche, exploring themes of nostalgia, regret, and the search for redemption.

“We wanted to create something that resonates with anyone who has ever felt lost or betrayed by their own memories,” says Chip Roberts, vocalist of Dual Analog. “’Caverns of the Mind’ is about confronting those feelings and the realization that sometimes the only way out of the darkness is through the help of someone who may not be willing to give it.”

“Caverns Of The Mind” is now available on all major streaming platforms. Below is the video for the new single.

About Dual Analog

Dual Analog was formed in 2019 by vocalist/guitarist Chip Roberts and multi-instrumentalist Kurtis Skinner. Incorporating elements of new wave and metal with a dash of industrial and world music, they create what they call “turbowave”.

They launched their debut album, “Lust, Worship, and Desire”, in 2022 alongside four singles and accompanying music videos. Dual Analog is currently in the studio completing work on their follow-up album, “The Wheel”, slated for a fall 2024 release.

Since you’re here …

… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Side-Line Magazine than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can - and we refuse to add annoying advertising. So you can see why we need to ask for your help.

Side-Line’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we want to push the artists we like and who are equally fighting to survive.

If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as 5 US$, you can support Side-Line Magazine – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
