Cultivated Bimbo releases a new remix of a 30-year old track, “Ten Seconds To Crazy”, as part of their new EP “In Progress”. Included on the EP are also a never before released live version of “In Brief”, a remastered version of “Ice Blender/Van Der Heyden”, as well as a couple of unreleased tracks from the early nineties.

“Ten Seconds To Crazy” was originally released in 1992 on the EP “Blasting In Progress”. The track has undergone a production facelift including also an extra load of “dirty samples, gritty beats and boomy basses” so the band says. You can already check it below.

The new EP is out on September 27th via the Microlab Studio label. You can pre-order it below.

Cultivated Bimbo, a musical act that began producing under various aliases in 1985, signed under their current name in 1990. After a five-year stint, they vanished from the Swedish music scene until 2019, when they began to remaster their old material from 1985 to 1990. This culminated in the 2020 release of “Prequel”, an extensive digital compilation of 222 tracks that saw the light of day on Progress Productions and Bandcamp.

Since you’re here …

… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Side-Line Magazine than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can - and we refuse to add annoying advertising. So you can see why we need to ask for your help.

Side-Line’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we want to push the artists we like and who are equally fighting to survive.

If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as 5 US$, you can support Side-Line Magazine – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
