Chris Pohl states this about the new song: “‘Shine again’ is one of the more quiet, melancholic numbers from the brand new Blutengel album. I guess I created a very catchy hookline here, which, together with the vocals, is stuck firmly in one’s head! Lyrically, it’s about a relationship drama…. Not unusual, but still always an inspiration. You can’t be with each other, but you can’t be without…”
