Black Needle Noise (aka John Fryer) releases another pay-what-you-want download song ‘Wild Stone’
After the free download track “Bang Bang”, Black Needle Noise (aka John Fryer) returns with another pay-what-you-want download song “Wild Stone”. You can get it right here on Bandcamp or stream it below. If you are into luscious female fronted vocals mixed with slick shoe gaze infested wave featuring a heavy breathing bass line and trumpets (!) then you’ll be served perfectly. We love it!
“Wild Stone” features Zia on vocals while all the music has been arranged by John Fryer.
John Fryer is an English record producer. Best known for his production and engineering work (Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode), he also branched out as a musician as one of only two constant members of This Mortal Coil (along with Ivo Watts-Russell), providing keyboards, strings and synthesizer sequencing for the band, and its offshoot, The Hope Blister.
He has since worked on several projects of which Black Needle Noise is his latest.
Since you’re here …
… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Side-Line Magazine than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can - and we refuse to add annoying advertising. So you can see why we need to ask for your help.
Side-Line’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we want to push the artists we like and who are equally fighting to survive.
If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as 5 US$, you can support Side-Line Magazine – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
The donations are safely powered by Paypal.
