About Beat Noir Deluxe
Beat Noir Deluxe is an alternative electronic music project led by singer, songwriter, composer, and producer Sascha G. The project encompasses genres such as synthpop, futurepop, dark wave, indie electronic, post-punk, and trip hop. Sascha G. performs on drums, keyboards, and guitar, handling vocals and song arrangements using a Digital Audio Workstation.
In the 1990s, Sascha G. began his musical journey, driven by a fascination with analog synthesizers and emerging electronic sound technologies. After a hiatus, he returned to music in 2019, founding Beat Noir Deluxe. This comeback was profoundly influenced by a serious car accident in 2017, which nearly claimed his life.
Based in Bolzano, Italy, he has collaborated with various artists, including Annika Borsetto, Doris Warasin, Lisa Anesi, Thomas Varesco, and Stefan Pattis. The project’s discography includes albums like “Crash” (2020) and “Werk Zwei” (2021), both released under the Echozone label. Singles include “Morphine”, “Compassion” and “Start Over Again”, each accompanied by an official music videos. The single “Compassion” pays tribute to the Italo Disco of the 1980s and 1990s, showing Sascha G.’s Italian roots.
