Out April 26 is a clear vinyl edition of the 2019 released Agent Side Grinder album “A/X”. This third vinyl edition is limited to 250 copies.

“A/X” was the follow-up to “Alkimia” and the first to feature the new vocalist Emanuel Åström. “A/X” delivered 2 singles: “Doppelgänger” and “Stripdown”. The singles introduced a more electronic and danceable sound, but still incorporating the band’s core elements. “A/X” holds 9 tracks produced by Jon Bordon and contains guest appearances by Gustav Bendt (Club Killers) and the Danish-Canadian coldwave-singer Sally Dige.

About Agent Side Grinder

Agent Side Grinder was formed in Bromma, Stockholm, in 2005. Their debut and sophomore albums, “Agent Side Grinder” (2008) and “Irish Recording Tape” (2009), are deeply entrenched in post-punk, industrial, and dark electro, while their 2012 release, “Hardware”, marked a shift to a richer and more layered sound. The album also featured collaborations with Swedish artists Skriet and Henric de la Cour.

2015 saw the release of “Alkimia” featuring a guest appearance Nicole Sabouné. The band underwent significant changes in 2017 when members Kristoffer Grip, Henrik Sunbring, and Thobias Eidevald departed. Johan Lange and Peter Fristedt, along with new vocalist Emanuel Åström, then made a strong return in 2019 with “A/X”.

Since you’re here …

… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Side-Line Magazine than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can - and we refuse to add annoying advertising. So you can see why we need to ask for your help.

Side-Line’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we want to push the artists we like and who are equally fighting to survive.

If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as 5 US$, you can support Side-Line Magazine – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
