Adsol – Endzeit (Digital EP – Eos .audio)
Genre/Influences: EBM.
Background/Info: Greek musician Stelios Goulas started his activities under the Adsol moniker in 2012. Several EP’s/singles have been released. “Endzeit” is the newest work, which has been introduced as a move back to EBM.
Content: “Endzeit” is more a single format instead of an EP. We first get a cool intro-track. Next comes the title song, which is driven by ‘modern’ EBM vibes and great spoken samplings instead of vocals. The song might appeal to fans of Komor Kommando. The last song is a remix by Japanese project Human Boot Project.
+ + + : “Endzeit” is a real great song! It’s a well-crafted, elaborated piece of intelligent body-music. There’s a great and solid bass line joined by efficient sound treatments. This is pure avant-garde EBM!
– – – : The remix of Human Boot Project is not exactly adding a real bonus. The original version is definitely more exciting! I regret that there are no more songs featured at this EP/single.
Conclusion: “Endzeit” is an accomplished EBM song so let’s keep an eye on this band!
Best songs: “Endzeit”.

… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Side-Line Magazine than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can - and we refuse to add annoying advertising. So you can see why we need to ask for your help.
Side-Line’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we want to push the artists we like and who are equally fighting to survive.
If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as 5 US$, you can support Side-Line Magazine – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
