AD:keY launch brand new 9-track ‘Deine Augen’ EP + video
The German EBM pop duo AD:keY (aka Andrea and Rene Nowotny) are back with the new EP “Deine Augen”. The original title track is taken from their recently released album “0609”.
The single version of “Deine Augen” was completely re-recorded focusing more on its electro-synth dimension, while the extended album mix stays true to its EBM-fueled future pop roots. The EP also features and atmospheric “Epilog” reinterpretation.
The whole was augmented with remixes from Dee Jay Pari, Villaborghese, Trilogy and Antiage. You’ll also find the B-side “I Take You”, which is also added in an instrumental version.
Out now first via Bandcamp, the EP will hit all other platforms next week.
Below is the video for “Deine Augen”.
About AD:keY
AD:keY is a German electronic body music (EBM) duo formed in 2006 by René Nowotny, known as Agro, and his partner Andrea Nowotny. René, previously the keyboardist for Armageddon Dildos, and Andrea combined their talents to create a sound that blends the synth-driven beats of DAF and Nitzer Ebb with vocal elements reminiscent of Welle:Erdball.
Their debut album, “Thema Nummer Eins”, was released on December 5, 2008. Over the years, AD:keY has released several albums, including “Reanimator” (2017), “Resonanz” (2020), and “0609” (2024).
The duo is signed to the Belgian label Alfa Matrix. Below is their recently released “0609” album.
Since you’re here …
… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Side-Line Magazine than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can - and we refuse to add annoying advertising. So you can see why we need to ask for your help.
Side-Line’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we want to push the artists we like and who are equally fighting to survive.
If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as 5 US$, you can support Side-Line Magazine – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
