WTZ lands final album ‘Droga do Domu’ – Out now
The Polish project Wędrowcy~Tułacze~Zbiegi (WTZ) which mixes artrock / synth pop / polish noir / black metal has landed a new album: “Droga do Domu” (“The Way Back Home”).
The band is quite popular in Poland and consists of well-known “underground” musicians from metal bands such as Furia, Gruzja, Odraza, Thaw and Totenmesse. Musically Wędrowcy~Tułacze~Zbiegi (translated as “Wanderers, Vagabonds, Fugitives”) delves deeply into atmospheric, experimental, and conceptual creations. It combines elements of dark folk, black metal, ambient, and avant-garde music, often with a theatrical and surreal aesthetic. The project stands out for its storytelling approach, invoking themes of nature, mysticism, existential wanderings, and spiritual liberation.
The album follows the release of the single “Agapa” earlier this year. The band says this about what is the final album for the project: “The character’s journey is not our journey. We have always been home. We have never left it, not even for a moment.”
WTZ on “Droga do domu” consists of Sars (Furia, Duszę Wypuścił, Massemord etc.), Stawrogin (Gruzja, Odraza, Totenmesse etc.), Konstanty Mierzejewski (Mag), Leks (Thaw, ARRM, Zgliszcza), Mold (Totenmesse, Charnel Aura, Loathfinder) and Szturpak (Licho, Koniec Pola).
“Droga do domu” is out now on all streaming platforms and in LP format via Devoted Art Propaganda.
You can order the album as a 12” with extra merchandise.

Since you’re here …
… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Side-Line Magazine than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can - and we refuse to add annoying advertising. So you can see why we need to ask for your help.
Side-Line’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we want to push the artists we like and who are equally fighting to survive.
If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as 5 US$, you can support Side-Line Magazine – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
