Platronic launches winter ballad ‘Winter Stores’ – Out now
Out now is the newest Platronic single “Winter Stores”, a ballad. The Frankfurt/Savonlinna duo – consisting of singer Kay and producer Sami – based the new track on a poem by Charlotte Brontë – one of the most celebrated Victorian writers of her time.
The band adds: “It’s about hope and resilience. It reminds us that even in the bleakest of winters, there is still beauty and life to be found, and that love and relationships are what give life its true meaning and value.”
The track is out now, below you can also check the video teaser.
The futurepop duo Platronic was formed in 2020 from the collaboration between German singer-songwriter Kay Burden and Finnish composer-producer Some-E. Drawing inspiration from iconic acts like ABBA, Depeche Mode, and VNV Nation, the duo has a sound that – as the duo also says – blends German melancholy with Finnish happiness. Earlier this year their single “Calling – Mitten in der Nacht”, featuring Tamás, was added to an official Spotify Suomi playlist.

… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Side-Line Magazine than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast.
