Mondträume returns with brand new synth pop single ‘Poisoned Love’
The Spanish electro pop act Mondträume returns with a brand new synth-pop single, “Poisoned Love”. After the previous single “Heart Machine”, this new 3-track single offers again a glimpse of their 2025 album “Mind Games”.
You’ll notice that founding member Pikotto (aka Jose Ignacio Castaño Marquinez) once again is joined by the German singer Nicky (vocalist of N-Frequency).
The single is out first on Bandcamp before hitting other platforms later next week.
Next to the title track the 3-track single also holds the B-side track “Heart Machine” and a remix of “Pictures Of You” by the Belgian electro-techno act Cubic.
The new single also goes hand in hand with a brand new video.
Below are the video clips for “Heart Machine” and “Pictures Of You”.
About Mondträume
Mondträume is a Spanish synth-pop project founded in 2010 by producer Pikotto VondMond (José Ignacio Castaño Marquínez). Initially, Pikotto collaborated with various vocalists, releasing the track “Life is Short” on the compilation “Extreme Sündenfall Vol. 10”. In late 2011, vocalist Damasius Venys joined, solidifying the duo’s lineup.
The band released their debut album, “Empty”, in 2014 on the Belgian electronic label Alfa Matrix. This was followed by their second album, “Lovers, Sinners & Liars”, in 2019.
In 2022, Mondträume introduced new members Ivan Derbenev (Antilav, Himmash) and vocalist Madil Hardis, releasing the EP “The Unknown Path”. By December 2023, German singer Nicky from N-Frequency joined as the official vocalist, leading to the release of the EP “Heart Machine” which you can check out below.
