Cosmic Room 99 – Cosmic Room 99 (Digital/CD/Vinyl Album – Shyrec / Little Cloud Records / Sister 9 Recordings)
This new Italian band features two members of Kill Your Boyfriend alongside the former guitarist of New Candys. Their debut album presents a fusion of diverse influences, ultimately landing somewhere between Industrial music and a blend of electronic instrumentation boosted by guitars. While the overall sound leans toward the Experimental and occasionally lacks cohesion, there are standout moments with more structured tracks that verge on Industrial Pop -these are the highlights for me. Cosmic Room 99 clearly strives to carve out its own identity, but the lack of conhesion prevents it from being a fully realized success. That said, this is only their debut, and it shows promising potential for future growth. (Rating:7).
