Implant – Scratching The Surface – The Chaos Machines Part 2 (Digital/Vinyl Album – Alfa Matrix)
Following the release of “No More Flies On The Windscreen” a few months ago, Implant now presents the second part of their trilogy, “The Chaos Machines”. This album is available not only in a digital edition but also in two distinct vinyl versions. It features some ‘Vinyl Versions’ of tracks from the previous album, including “I Wasn’t There” featuring Noemi Aurora, alongside new songs that allow Len Lemaire and his Belgian band to further explore and diversify their eclectic electronic sound. Ranging from highly danceable tracks to darker atmospheric pieces, and even moments with experimental, analog elements, the album’s cohesive thread is its solid bass lines. “The Drive – Vinyl Version” stands out as the album’s ultimate climax. Through it all, Implant maintains its distinctive, uncompromising style of composition. (Rating:8).

Since you’re here …
… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Side-Line Magazine than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can - and we refuse to add annoying advertising. So you can see why we need to ask for your help.
Side-Line’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we want to push the artists we like and who are equally fighting to survive.
If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as 5 US$, you can support Side-Line Magazine – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
