Track 4 on our free download compilation “Face The Beat: Session 3” is by the Brazilian project Aesthetische. Aesthetische is actually the duo behind the now defunct but famous EBM act Aghast View aka Guilherme Pires and Fabricio Viscardi. With “Byprodukt” they clearly show they are the frontrunners of the new EBM wave featuring a topnotch production and current dance influences without forsaking their EBM background. “Byproduct” itself was featured on their 2014 album “Hybridcore”.

You can listen to the track below:

Established in August 2011, by Fabricio Viscardi and Guilherme Pires, Aesthetische is the natural consequence of Aghast View. Seasoned by years of electronic music experience they remain faithful to their EBM roots and to everyone who has enjoyed their music with Aghast View and Biopsy. Over the past few years the project has intensively been remixing all kind of bands and are widely considered to be one of the best remixers around. It’s no surprise that their work gets lots of recognition outside the industrial scene too.

Most recently, in December that is, the band released their brand new EP “Cold Is Clean”, one of the best selling download EPs Alfa Matrix has ever released. On the Ep you can find collaborations with Xev from Diffusion and Mari Kattman. Listen below!

You will find Aesthetische on Facebook.

Since you’re here …

… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Side-Line Magazine than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can - and we refuse to add annoying advertising. So you can see why we need to ask for your help.

Side-Line’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we want to push the artists we like and who are equally fighting to survive.

If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as 5 US$, you can support Side-Line Magazine – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
