The London-based industrial-electronic act Pink Panther Project will be releasing their debut album in September. But before that we can offer you an exclusive premiere of their debut single “Morticia Addams”, inspired by the iconic Addams Family character.

“Morticia Addams” serves as a first taste of the band’s forthcoming double album, “Intoxicating Embrace”, scheduled to be released on 16 September 2024 via Marian Whores and the Greek label The Circle Music.

You can watch the video for this German-language track right below, and you can also already pre-save the album on digital platforms.

About Pink Panther Project

Born in London in 2023, Pink Panther Project is the brainchild of Uela. With the addition of Alex K. and Ether Mu. The project quickly solidified their sound blending EBM, industrial, and dance music with a touch of pop.

“The basic concept was to create something fun and new, special,” says Uela. “We wanted to make a varied record, with danceable and melodic songs, a little crazy if you like, and we succeeded.”

Regarding the band’s name, Uela explained: “The name recalls the world of cartoons perhaps but it’s a coincidence, a joke, in reality pink is a colour very dear to me and I certainly feel like a panther or an eagle, some don’t find it dark enough, but we are not “dark enough”.

Since you’re here

we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Side-Line Magazine than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can - and we refuse to add annoying advertising. So you can see why we need to ask for your help.

Side-Line’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we want to push the artists we like and who are equally fighting to survive.

If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as 5 US$, you can support Side-Line Magazine – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
