Background/Info: The newest opus of Polish solo-project Paranoia Inducta is a conceptual one. The work has been inspired by the ‘current events of the modern world, such as pandemics, war, globalization and the widespread exploitation of the individual.’ It has been transposed into nine tracks.
Content: If you’re a bit familiar with the work of this artist -and especially his latest releases, you’ll rapidly recognize the global sound approach and -format. Paranoia Inducta composes inhibited tracks driven by Dark-Ambient atmospheres. It has been achieved with heavy, epic, arrangements while you’ll also notice field recordings and passages with female chants creating an abyssal sensation.
+ + + : Paranoia Inducta composes music at the border of different -although related, music genres. I especially like the Dark-Ambient basis of the work which is completed by impressive, epic, arrangements. Buzzing sound waves accentuate the darkness this album is made of although I also noticed a part of reverie revealed at “The End Of Our Time”. Paranoia Inducta composes music with an impressive sonic canvas featuring field recordings. It only empowers the diversity of the work. Last but not least, I once again have to say a word about the great, artistic, A5 digipak format.
– – – : There’s something to say about each single cut but to speak about an absolute masterpiece I’m missing an absolute climax. You however don’t hear me complaining.
Conclusion: This is one more great and fascinating piece of dark music by an underrated artist in the genre.
