Background/Info: “Light Streaming Down” is an ‘early’ record from Australian formation Dandelion Wine. Originally released in 2002 the work last year has been re-released to celebrate its twentieth anniversary.
Content: The work is totally representative for the sound and approach of this formation. Ethereal, female, voices mixed with dreamy sound atmospheres. The playing of acoustic instruments creates an authentic sensation which comes directly through. From pure Cinematic reverie to Neo-Classic music this work hasn’t lost its original magic.
+ + + : Dandelion Wine maybe never got a deserved recognition outside their country and yet they’re adored by lovers of Ethereal music. When you’re listening to this ‘old’ work you can only but catch the magic emerging from the instruments and the vocals. It’s pure joy getting back “Begin Journey”, “Light Streaming Down” and “Cella’s Movement”. Some passages end with a kind of Psychedelic effect.

Conclusion: Music can be an invitation to travel and discover imaginary landscapes. Dandelion Wine is a great and experienced guide.
