Background/Info: Sascha Lemon never sleeps, and already released two new tracks.
Content: The German artist has mixed his favorite influences he has injected in his releases from the past years. This EP features 2 long duration cuts, which make me think of a sonic puzzle. The work is diversified and creates a harmonious bridge between Ambient space effects, intelligent IDM treatments and even Dark-Ambient passages. The songs are progressively evolving, creating a kind of soundtrack for an imaginary performance.
+ + + : Sascha Lemon is maybe releasing too much stuff, but he never disappoint his followers. “A Violent Silence” is a new and efficient work mixing sound intelligence and great atmospheres. Especially the Dark-Ambient passages are rather new in the work of LPF12, but here again he feels comfortable with the genre. The second cut “A Matter Of Persistence” is a brilliant piece for its sophisticated approach and eclectic style.
– – – : I regret that we only get 2 cuts here; this is one of his best works in the impressive LPF12 discography.
Conclusion: “A Violent Silence” stands for electronic modernism, the intersection between different, although related music genres.
